The place is beautiful and the staffs were friendly and their foods are tasty. We had an awesome time with popcorn , drinks and Asun in between. Will definitely visit again. However their are points that I feel that need to be addressed:

  1. Once we stepped in the gate we were sent to the left corner without any form of explanation why, this can be done better.

  2. The person ushering you in-line for tickets was telling us to fall in line by the standard ticket, which I refused because we had premuim ticket, he needs to be educated by asking first what type of ticket you have before ushering one.

  3. Once we were inside we were handed over to someone whom I felt should have explained what her role is and tell us what our ticket entails. We ended up not getting the candy that was part of our premuim ticket. And she was standing next to us the whole time that it felt weird.

  4. At the water slide entrance queue, the guy prevented us from taking the VIP line obviously they weren't educated to look at for the golden tag. They should also ask for premium tags when in top if their is a crowd or look out for it . Also they should confirm that the elbow braces are properly placed, because I ended up with a wound on my elbow because this item wasn't properly placed.

  5. The EHBO should be equipped with correct materials. A plaster was placed on my wound but it wasn't a water resistant plaster, which undid itself the moment I stepped inside the water.

All all, I recommend this place. It is great to see that this type of place...

Well if you are looking for a nice cozy spot to hang out in Lagos Nigeria 🇳🇬 then you need to add Giwa Gardens water 💦 park to your wish list or holiday or leisure destination.

If you missed the Buy one ticket get one free Bonaza that was done during launch last year which is now sold out you can take advantage of another Bonaza. Simply find an exclusive club member and get the Annual family pass at a discounted price of (150k) with that holders of the family annual pass get to visit the theme water 💦 park 5 different times in a year and they are entitled to free safety gear and more importantly they get to skip the long queues. Now that is about one of the best deals currently on offer or on sale at the moment and it’s selling out fast.

When they launched 🚀 last year after overcoming the HSE regulations hurdle after being decommissioned for Health and safety regulations they bounced back acquiring their Health and safety certificates or approval from Lagos State health and Safety commission and now they are back in business big time.

They are currently planning for expansion with more extreme slides and other additions perks to stake their claim as the best and biggest water 💦 park in Nigeria 🇳🇬 and they are not too far from achieving that huge milestone. You wait till the expansion is completed and you would understand what I’m...

My Experience at Giwa Park on 27th December 2024

Yesterday, I visited Giwa Park with six other people, expecting a fun and relaxing day, but unfortunately, it turned out to be quite the opposite. The experience was nothing short of disappointing and frustrating from start to finish.

First, I paid for towels, swimming goggles, caps, and other essentials for myself and my group. Despite this, we didn't receive a single item that we had paid for. The situation only worsened when I had to queue outside for over two hours just to get into the park. Once inside, I had to spend nearly another hour waiting to collect the items I paid for. After all that time, I was informed that there was a shortage of materials because of the large number of people. This raises a critical question: If the park management is aware of its capacity, why sell more tickets than the park can accommodate? It feels like pure greed to me.

The overcrowding was unbearable, and many people were visibly frustrated. When I tried to express my concerns and leave feedback on their website, I was blocked from doing so. This shows a complete lack of accountability and customer service.

I hope the management of Giwa Park will reconsider how they handle capacity and customer satisfaction in the future, but for me, this was a terrible experience I wouldn't...

Click Giwa Garden off my to-do list and wish to do it over again. This brought back my childhood experience at Trans Amusement Park even though i was expecting Rodeo experience, Nevertheless, It was awesome. Giwa Garden is situated in Sangotedo Lagos, Nigeria, with a capacity of 1500 guests. The facility is well managed, providing seemless service. From the point of entry, you'll know it's well managed. We signed a consent form (which is normal) after watching a guide video of the park. Proceed to ticket and accessories/safety gear points (only towel is free). Changing room and restroom is available for use before you gain access to the swimming space. Life jackets and floaters are available. Parking is safe but limited(expanding this year), no wait in line for VIP ticket holders (advisable to book online), no food and drinks allowed(there is enough to purchase), lockers and changing room can be overwhelming on public holidays/weekend. Children are allowed accompanied by parents or guardians.
