Sanda Kyarimi Park Zoo — Attraction in Maiduguri

A beautiful place with a serene environment located in one of the most popular areas in the heart of Maiduguri the Borno state capital. There are a lot of planted trees there which cool the area in hot weather conditions. It's a place to take your family for a picnic and spend some time together. There are various species of wild and domestic animals which include: Ostrich; red monkeys; Baboo; tortoises; Lions; Elephant; Crocodiles; Hyenas; Pythons; Muturu cattle; Hedhogs; Cape Eland; Geese; Sheep; Goats; Horse's; and Camel among others. Awesome park, it was a thrill to see the many animals —some, my first— the zoo keeps. I'm not a medic or vet though, but I think the baboons need some medical attention. Also, that elephant needs the company of other elephants, please! Even if just one other.🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 Thumbs up though, you should definitely visit.
