I was there to explore the wonders of Nature (water)
Eleyele lake is in Ibadan city which serves lots of multifunctional purpose ie
1.Boat ride(tour) 2.Transportation 3.Fishing 4.Source of water for Ibadan city water project
Location: once you get to Ibadan, board a bus/cab going to Eleyele then ask of Eleyele lake
Fee: It depends on the boat riders ,you will have to negotiate with them but it’s cheap
Other Attraction:Fish and palm wine are so cheap and if you love Fulani milk (you get to buy fura and Nono at an affordable price)
Recommendation : The government/the locals needs to develop healthy hygiene as the place looks unkept and dirty.
Common ! This place is a source of livelihood and income to people they should Atleast develop the place . A resort, swimming pool with a view of the lake or an aqua leisure will spice the place up.
Above all I enjoyed the boat ride and had a lovely time with the mind blowing view of Nature.

You can catch the glimpse of the lake from the top most floor of Gethsemane Jubilee Prayer Tower Eleyele round about Eleyele. You can find time to visit the...
Read moreThere's the option of a boat cruise round the lake, kayaking and paddle boat. The boat cruise is fine but in my opinion, it'll be over in a few minutes and for the price, I don't think it's worth it. My personal favourite for now is the paddle boat mainly because I can't do the kayaking yet but the paddle boat also gets you really in tune with the water, just floating and taking it all in. A bit scary if you're not used to water bodies like that but that's what makes it all the more interesting. Oh and it's cheap too,...
