Absolutely incredible experience at Brzanov Artisan Winery just outside Skopje!

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. Antonio, the winemaker, gave us a personalized tasting experience and walked us through the philosophy and process behind each wine. You can tell every bottle is made with love and care — no chemicals, no shortcuts.

The wines were world-class, especially the Vranec Elixir and Artisan Rhein Reisling. Rich, complex, and full of character. We opted for the full tasting with local food, which included amazing cheeses, homemade meats, fresh bread, and grilled dishes. Everything paired beautifully. Though I am a vegetarian, I had some good choices available while my friends enjoyed the other dishes.

The setting is cozy and peaceful — perfect for relaxing and learning about Macedonian winemaking. Great value for money, too.

Highly recommend booking in advance. This is a true hidden gem and one of the best winery visits I’ve ever had.

The winery offers a wide selection of high-quality wines, paired with delicious homemade cured meats. They also serve an outstanding wild game lunch that perfectly complements the wines.
