Golden Beach — Attraction in Municipality of Ohrid

We’ve been to this beach 4 years ago and it was an amazing experience. So sad to see this wonderful beach that was once an amazing place to relax turn into a hell hole. First of all when we came one of the staff member told us to sit on the large couches and they were so so dirty second of all when we ordered the coffee, I asked for a long shot of espresso- It arrived as a watered down small shot of espresso. Third of all very unpleasant working atmosphere for the people their boss was screaming nonstop and you could hear it all across the beach. They promote themselves as an exclusive beach club, but in reality, everything is dirty, the hygiene is of the poorest quality possible. It has been going downhill for them- even when we visited once last year it was the same, but this year we can say that it was the worst that we have ever experienced at a beach in Ohrid. When we ordered a portion of chicken fingers, there were two dead flies in the portion absolutely...

UPDATE JULY 2024: Unfortunately, Golden Beach has taken a dive in their service. The wait time for services is so long but it's not due to being under staffed, there are clumps of kids just hanging out instead of working. Another this that is very shady is that I asked for a receipt when paying in cash and the server said they can't give me a receipt. I pulled out my visa and he was magically able to give me a receipt. We will not be returning to this beach again.

JULY 2022: Love the vibe and drinks. The employees have great customer service. The food is only okay, nothing really great with their toast, chicken fingers or chicken...

Golden Beach Park Lounge Bar - On June 22nd there was a theft of belongings that were at the waterfront lounge chairs, this was reported to the staff of the bar. The bar does not have video surveillance of that area, also the manager did not find the time to get involved nor talk to us. That is not how a business should be run.
