Markovi Kuli is a great place to spend your time at, especially if you're from Prilep. You can park your car at the so called "elephant" - a rock formarion where the asphalt road ends. Although the road has been renewed, and a car can drive on it, you can "feel" the mountain the most if you simply take a 15-30 mins walk to the peak. The last 100 metres are with stairs. From the '"elephant" you have a few options to get to the peak: The shortest, and the hardest path simply goes directly up from the elephant. Read moreThe easiest way to reach is from Varos Side (part of Prilep). Go to Varos by car and then on foot. There is a road all the way up, but don't go by car, it is preety narrow and without asphalt. From Varos you can go on foot via the road, or take a shortcut directly up, which is also fine, just have proper hiking boots.
You can continue hiking from here to Treskavec monastery, which is absolutely stunning! there is markation and the path is also on google maps!
