A short boat journey from Alesund, this beautiful fjord is definitely worth visiting if you get a chance. The fjord has an interesting history of the people who settled there over the years, which was narrated to us by our guide as we progressed further along. The surrounding mountains and landscape are breathtaking and the photos absolutely do not do them justice - you really need to see them for yourself if you get the chance!

Fantastic and beautiful place. A must see, and a hidden gem who is not yet covered in masses of turists. Go to the tiny, tiny pub by the dock, a really cozy place to meet the locals, Who are really Nice btw. Or you can go hiking in the beautiful mountains. Some of Norways most magnificent views, you will never regret the time spent amongst these surroundings.
