Well worth a visit even if you’re not a WW2 fanatic (I’m not)! The hike up to the bunker from the bus stop and parking area is on a paved road and took us (a family of four) about 40 minutes. At the top you have a great view and the cafe serve good pancakes (40 NKR each). They also let us eat our packed lunch inside in shelter from the rain. 💛 Super interesting tour (in excellent English!) through the German bunker and tunnels with a very knowledgeable guide! We learnt so much! Make sure to time your visit to when the tours are given! There are also some small exhibitions where you don’t need a guide. Our only problem was when we were going to get the bus back to Bergen (one every two hours on Sundays) the driver drove past us since we were in the bus shelter and not outside… 😖 We were saved by two lovely locals who gave us a lift back! 🤩 Tusen tack! 🙏🏻 Heja Norge! 🇳🇴 Hälsningar från...

Besides that, the (hiking)trails that are available are enjoyable, although sometimes the direction you need to follow according to the signs is quite unclear. You can see parts of the fortress while following the trails which is nice.
Overall, would recommend if you like WW-II history. Although being a ticket with guided tour is strongly...
