Nordsjøfartmuseet — Attraction in Øygarden

We visited the museum on the 15th May 2023.

Museum that is dedicated to the sacrifice and the resistance putup by Norwegian and people from Televag during the 2nd World War.

They will play a 20-minute video in the auditorium, and they hang out the handheld audio system that you can pressed the exhibit no, and it will explain.

Highly recommended...

I never heard about this event due to living in America, but the museum was very well placed and organized to give insight into the small town and the effects of the tragedy. It also showed how the Country came together to rebuild. In addition, the area is gorgeous...

Another little snippet of World War II that I had no idea about. The information is presented really well and the audio guide has a good deal of detail for non-Norwegian speakers.

Easy to get to from Bergen by bus and close...
