We stumbled across this place while driving the Kystricksveien. As we are British atheists we skipped the museum as the religious poetry would probably be wasted on us. However, I was blown away with how they had carved out the granite to fit the museum in between. The stone is just stunning and it's amazing to think of the work involved to do this. The grounds were also very pleasant with a walk to the lake, church, cemetery, grass roofed buildings and picnic benches.

Read moreNo puedo describir el museo ya que se limitan al idioma noruego e inglés, los cuales no controlo. Si expresaré mi opinión magnífica sobre la iglesia. Construida en sus inicios en piedra de pomez local tallada, muy reformada, pertenece a las iglesias católicas del s. XII-XIII. Lo llamativo y excepcional es el globo sobres su torre que algunos denominan cebolla. El entorno es precioso, un agradable sendero conduce al mar. En sus inmediaciones el cementerio, el museo con sus complementos y una amplia zona recreativa.
