Great little place to stay on way to Andenes or way through to Lofoten. Right on the sea with wonderful views and a beautiful long sandy beach. Hot pools: there are five or six on offer. These have great views over the bay and are well kept and clean. Definitely worth it. Great showers provided for free after the pool. Tip- take shampoo and conditioner as a hairdryer is available too. Make the most of the amenities. Saunas: saunas are available too. Three different ones and one near the sea. Good fun to take a dip into the sea after. A shower is also provided there. Toilets - the ones in the house where the washing machine is are nice. The ones outside that back onto the showers are not as nice but all are clean. Showers: you have to pay. Annoying but some sites do this. Four showers which are very large. Great to change in. Clean. Nice size. Lounge area: there is no cafe or bar on site which is a shame but good and drunk are sold at reception and can be consumed in a lovey lounge area overlooking the bay. Great for a rainy day escape. What else is there: not much. Either that’s it’s charm or it’s not. Depends on what you want. Bliek is 20 min drive north. Andenes is 25/30 mins. The space station is also near bliek too and allow visitors.

The camping place quite okay. Don’t know what to feel about it. The Pools and the Sauna are quite nice and you have an amazing view over the ocean and the mountains. Everything else ist just okay. If you like to cuddle with other Campers it’s good, because the space between the campers specially on the right site after the reception are quite small… If a normal Csmpers stands on the next pitch, your good view is gone. You can’t empty your Grey Water (permanent I think) and you can’t empty your toilet, because it’s out of order and you don’t get an Information about that before the check in. Everything costs extra, like showering, Washing Maschine… I don’t really have seen this often in Norway. So over all, it was okay to stay there, but to pay hundreds of NOK, just to have electricity, kitchen and bathroom, I don’t know… Would prefer to stay on the island on some of the free nature spots

Order the pools in advance!!! It looked like only 2-3 were working, but actually only 1 of 8 was broken. All busy ( 2 times a day). Area is fantastic to stay for 1 night at the sea ( cold day) . kitchen, toilets in the separate area are always clean. Rubbish recycled! You will need shower coins (1-2 enough for showering once). If not used- money back yo your account! Cabins (65€) 21-08-2021 are small but fit a double bed with a single one on top. BED LINEN WAS THERE BY DEFAULT!!! What a nice surprise! Nice sleep it was! Bed pretty small but comfortable, really! ( cabin9) A small cooker, a fridge, a table, cooking table and 3 stools. Nice staff members! Nice sea! For me only 1 minus- cold floors 🤣crocks on! Socks on! Spaceship AURORA SPACE CENTRE NOT FAR FROM IT! (by car) here they explore the skies, auroras and launch small satellites into orbit!!!

If you don't have need for camping place amenities I would rather park at a P stop than here.

The good things: The location is peaceful and the beach is really, really neat and nice. There are some lambs roaming around which is cute.

The downside. The camping places price and value don't add up unfortunately. The price for a night is pricy. You need to pay 30 NOK extra for the shower (5 min). And the pressure is really bad. Also, in the shower we used the temperature adjustment was broken so you couldn't adjust the warmth of the water. We showered in pretty cold water...

Pro tip: if you buy 2 shower coins, you can't add one more before the shower has stopped 100%. We had 3 shower coins - one of them we added too early and couldn't use it - and we are pretty fast to shower, so the water was on about 2 extra minutes in vain.

The toilets were dirty, there were small paper bits on the floor the whole day. The soap and hand paper was not topped up during our stay either.

In the kitchen the other sink tap worked fine, the other only provided really hot water and couldn't be adjusted. Even though it's nice to wash your dishes in warm water. The hot water was too much for my hands.

So all in all it's a 2 star place for me. I would love to have given more, just because the view of the beach and sea...
