Yes, really loooooong. There are three stopping areas, lighted in colours to make it more relaxing, where girls gather to have fun, and sometimes, there is a wedding ceremony right there in the middle of the tunnel! Passing traffic is loud, though. Don't exit the vehicle if you are claustrophobic (even if you can take the ride through). What amazes me, Norwegians build just one corridor, not one per each direction, and nothing for fresh air. Everything is in one single tube.

Lardal tunnel is the longest tunnel in the world with 24.5-kilometer connecting two different municipals. It took 20 minutes or so for me to pass through because I should keep the speed of 60km per hour. Keeping changing light while passing it was kind of fun experience and relieved boredom. There is no emergency exit but has emergency phones to contact the police and has car park in several places.

This road tunnel is the world's longest one with its 24.5 kilometers. It's divided into 4 segments, separated by 3 caves with blue light on the roof that break the monotony of the never ending road. I think it's worth to pass through it only if you need to, otherwise I wouldn't come here on purpose.

Neat to go through and a feat of engineering! Went through on our way to go to Borgund Stave church. It got to be obviously a bit repetitive but as to be expected, nice that there’s the occasional sections of another lighting to break it up.
