I recently had the pleasure of visiting Stegastein lookout in Norway & it truly took my breath away. The majestic beauty that unfolds both beneath & above eye level is unparalleled.

Upon arrival, you instantly feel a sense of tranquility as you breathe in the fresh air while soaking in the peaceful surroundings. The view of the mountains & the ocean nestled between them is simply awe-inspiring. Simply gazing out at the scenery is a peaceful & calming experience. I highly recommend taking your time & truly savouring this magnificent vista.

The drive up the mountain to reach Stegastein lookout is equally amazing, with numerous stops along the way where you can fully appreciate the sensory experience & capture stunning photos. It is advisable to drive slowly to fully absorb the scenery. The roads are narrow, so if there are buses or trucks passing by you will need to move aside & give way, which can be a little scary if you are not a confident driver.

The memories & photos captured during my visit are truly incredible. I cannot stress enough how much I recommend visiting this place. It is an absolute must-see for anyone traveling in Norway.

This was my second visit to Stegastein lookout, the first being 5 years ago. The incredibly breathtaking view remains unchanged, but unfortunately, I noticed that the lookout itself has not been properly maintained and is starting to show signs of discoloration & deterioration. It would be a shame if such a remarkable place were not given the attention it deserves.
