Mistberget — Attraction in Eidsvoll

From the parking area, there is a total of 8 km walk or bicycling to arrive at the mountain's summit at 663 metres above mean sea level. Its main attraction is the 16 meters high observation tower - an additional one kilometre walk further to the south (search for "Mistberget Observation tower"). It will elevate you above the treetops, and give you magnificent bird eye views of the surrounding areas; Mjøsa (lake), Minnesund, Eidsvoll, Råholt, Gardermoen airport, and Hurdalsjøen (lake) - turning clockwise. For those wanting to avoid the partly scary climb up in the tower, there is even a nice outlook from a cliff to the west...
