Lista Lighthouse / Visitor Center — Attraction in Farsund

The apartment we had at Lista Fyr was an old house for the lighthouse-people. It is very big, so a longer stay with a family is no problem at all. When we stayed here there was just a new owner so it needed some new paintings and the wifi in the apartment didn’t work. But I think that will be fixed soon. On the lighthouse-grounds there is a information building where we collected our key and where the wifi worked fine (also from the outside after opening hours). A very nice feature here is that you get your own key of the lighthouse!! We went on the lighthouse after opening hours and that was very special. You have to bring your own food because there are no restaurants on walking distance but that is part of the fun. The location is just a bit remote,but that made it special. I want to sleep near a lighthouse all the time!! The people that work at the informationcenter are very nice...

150 kroner for at komme op i fyret er alt for meget. Udsigten er da meget pæn, men på ingen måde spektakulær. Derudover har de et fuldstændig latterligt system, hvor man skal booke en halv time, hvor man kan gå op i fyret. I den tid er der spærret for at andre kan komme op i fyret. Hvad med at gå tilbage til den gamle ordning, hvor døren til fyret er åben og man som besøgende lægger en mønt i bøssen. Det fungerede tidligere sådan på Lista Fyr, og det fungerer stadig sådan mange steder. Den nuværende praksis er latterlig og prisniveauet er udtryk for optrækkeri. Efter der er kommet svar, har jeg følgende at tilføje: Vejret var godt, da jeg var der - så min dårlige oplevelse har intet med det at gøre. Jeg føler mig faktisk endnu mere snydt nu, hvor jeg kan læse i svaret, at prisen på 150 kroner dækker en hel gruppe på op til 10 personer. Hvis jeg havde fået det at vide, da jeg købte billetten, havde jeg jo kunnet slå mig sammen med nogle andre, så flere havde haft mulighed for at komme op i tårnet, og samtidig havde vi kunnet dele udgiften. Gør dog i det mindste det, at I sætter et skilt op, hvor der tydeligt står, hvilken prisstruktur I har! Hvorfor ikke skilte med det? Da jeg ankom til fyret stod der ingen priser nogen steder, og jeg spurgte bare i butikken, om man kunne komme op i fyret, og inden jeg fik set mig om var jeg blevet plukket for 150 kroner. Det går simpelthen ikke! Det er optrækkeri af...
