Visited the abandoned Utvorda Festning. This fortress consists of many German bunkers, artillery pieces, and caves. Commissioned in 1940 and abandoned in 1945 the location never saw any battle. The vast array of tunnels and caves hand dug into granite are a true work of engineering. I guess I can check off exploring WW2 German Bunkers off my list. I also would highly suggest bringing "muckers" as I call them or tall waterproof boots if you want to wade into some of the flooded bunkers. It also can get quite muddy. Just remember it is ABANDONED, this is not a museum. You will need to be able to hike up steep inclines, over rocks, and be prepared with food and water. This is not the place you want to get hurt at you are isolated and it will take time to get help if you do. Also stick to the path, while I'm not sure if there are still mines around the map shows that at one point there were/are active mines laid. So don't go exploring too much off the trodden path.
