You start walking along the Fyresvatn (Lake of Fyresdal) and then the wooden pathway will take you among raspberry bushes, then high up on the treetops, mostly among pine trees until you walk up to the highest point where you have a wide view over mountain tops and the lake. A green refreshing breathtaking walk giving you a nice feeling of fresh air and a broad view. The walk is easy for all, you can stop in the woods and cook some food in some places fitted with logs and barbecue with a gorgeous view and places to seat. But no fee is to be paid for the Hamaren tretopp walk 😊) down on the lake, just a few meters...

Fascinating, beautiful, thrilling and impressive! Spend an hour or two meandering through the forest on this unique treetop trail while taking in the scenery.

The wooden boardwalk trail takes you high over the trees and the lake below from where the trail starts to the lookout point above without wearing you out. It’s an easy and very accessible walk on some great craftsmanship....

I would recommend for families at least to go on the walk up to the view first, then go to the a nice playground farther down. (There are signs in English and Norwegian showing where everything is). Fantastic...
