Old Gildeskål Church — Attraction in Gildeskål

We took the guided tour and it was great. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We got a tour of both the old church (which holds a lot of history) and the new one next door. It is important to know that , even if there is a sign with tour times by the church door, you need to go up to the reception first (in the white building next door and up the hill). The tour only starts when someone has checked in first. You can only get in to the church as part of a tour. When we were there tours started...

Nice grounds, but seeing the church requires that you show up for the guided tour on the hour. That wasn't clear anywhere.

There aren't many ferries continuing at Sund, so you'll need to plan this...
