Reklame ✨ Anbefaler virkelig å ta turen til @Kongeparken i sommer🎢 Bare 25 minutter fra Stavanger, og like gøy for både små og store 🎠💖 #kongeparken #norge #norway #amusementpark #visitnorway

Went there for a Christmas crafting day. Unfortunately too crowded everywhere. It was also only open for a brief 3 hours. Lineups in front of all activities. Two special activities were only available with booking at whatever random time you were given. If you weren't present at that very minute, you missed it with no grace. We registered, but missed both of them due to the complicated setup and timing. Very friendly staff. The included "Christmas dinner" was okay with a decent selection of sausage, meatballs, rice porridge and accessories. But we only found this place due to someone who has been there several times telling us about it. It was very poorly advertised. Very many activities which could have been open were closed, and a large area of the park was restricted, leading to dead ends on paths and more crowding. Definitely something where you should consult with someone who has experience in order to catch most events, which we did, and still missed much. We had to pay 81 NOK in parking through Apcoa Flow, which is appalling.

Great place both for the family and the kids, a perfect family get away place where every age have something or else to enjoy. Build so nicely that it blends so well with the scenic nature. 😊 Very friendly staff who proactively helps everyone with a smile. I saw the staff continously sanitizing most of the rides like roller coaster seats, supet seats etc after very single ride (I am very impressed !!). Upon enquiry, I was also told that all the attractions are washed 3 times a day. Also there are 50 antibac stations, queue lines with markings so you keep a distanse, plexi glass etc. Before visiting, I was worried due to the Covid-19. So before going, I had written to the Kongeparken about my concerns and they had replied prompty. I was told that they have developed a safe park operations guideline together with the other parks in Norway and Standard Norge. Approximately 10 min drive from Sandnes. I love it 😊. I am looking forward to going there again 🤗.0

I've visited this park every year for more than a decade, and I've told hundreds of people to go there, but after this visit I'll start telling them to stay away..

The food was impressively expensive considering the potion size, and of course it was served cold. 0,3l drinks to push people to buy a "subscription" cup that lasts for months.. Well, I'm just here for one day...

Uninspired kids operating the rides. You will spend all day building impatience while watching them walk slowly around with no respect for the paying customers in long lines. Maybe they need a raise. The mood is good, they're just stuck in slow motion. Please take your time with the safety checks, but please up the pace for everything else..

Older rides need an upgrade. The "Ormen lange" carts does not slide by themselves in "pit stop" area, the break/handle you hold on to slid of the pole when I was being pulled uphill so I almost fell backwards down the lift as this wasn't expected. Suggest using some glue. "Waterslide" stopped rice over a short period of time. Other attractions closed. Some of the carts did not overcome the bearings friction when occupied by teenagers so they cold barely move downhill even when the brake was totally unengaged.

Restrooms need a high pressure wash and some soap. Cold water in the taps. One soap dispenser out of order.

-The park opens at 10, sadly, this seems to be the exact same time as the rides start being inspected so we were forced to search for rides that were open. Suggest inspections starts 30mins earlier..

Entrance prices has become as high as competing parks that are much larger and have more/better rides for older people. Buying tickets online before April(?) solves this problem, or you can check the black market.

The new attraction "Ørnen" was really nice, but the loading time is beyond all reason as the single employee has to walk back and forth between the two carts a couple of times to ready the carts, then load, then inspect.

The weather was bad today, so there was no people in the park.. Still had...

The park is open at 10am but not every station is open at 10am. And as it was raining not all rides were open as well. I would say we only tried 4 of the rides of all the rest were closed!

RACISM!

In the chocolate factory(no adults can be admitted) unfortunately my children experienced racism there. My daughter who went in with my son said that the main girl who was in charge of the chocolate factory on that Tuesday 24/6/25 told my boy to SHUT UP when he tried to ask questions and when other Caucasian (Norwegians) children asked questions she answered so nicely. And one of the rides for the smallest children (kakaokoppene) which was open, too we experienced racism. We were there at about 10.45am and it was closed as there wasn't any queues so we wondered if it was closed so we asked simply if it was open? She was so extremely grouchy just nodded and like unwillingly opened the gate. We couldn't go take any other rides cos it was raining. While with another Caucasian Norwegian father and son, she smiled and welcomed them.

The Pizza place has confusing directions of entrance and exit.

Plus the mini bank atm thingy for kids was not working as well. They are supposed to be able to get a card and rewards for doing the rides but that was not working as well.

The nice things was the fire station where they were engaging and nice to the children and the bumper cars and flying elephants which the attendants were very nice too.

Else the condition of most of the rides and the 2 racism we experienced in a short while in a supposing 'family friendly' place really made me put 1 star on Google review.

Totally will not recommend to...

uper place for the whole family. Carousels and many other fun experiences. There is enough to make you really dizzy or you can cool off with water toys on a hot summer day. Maybe enjoy the food and drinks brought along. Common barbecue areas are created. Outside, there are several places where you can buy food and drinks at the same level as you normally expect.

We have also been there several times for Halloween and Christmas. Incredibly elegant, the whole park is rigged with the right atmosphere. Light, sound, effects, nothing is spared. The layouts and decorations change from year to year.

Halloween and ghost night arrangements are a lot of fun. Scary and fun at the same time, especially when night has fallen and the jokes come out, witches, ghosts and many other adorable creatures. Especially fun when the guests get dressed too!

Christmas and the Christmas atmosphere is also something the park is good to offer. Nice pre-Christmas atmosphere for young and old, with a nice combination of Christmas workshop and merry-go-rounds. The snow is even real :-) How many Christmas trees are planted is not good to say but many are. Here too, night falls and thousands of Christmas lights illuminate the...
