Obrestad Lighthouse is a coastal lighthouse located on the north side of the small farming village of Obrestad in Hå municipality, Rogaland county, Norway. It sits on a promontory about 5 kilometres west of Nærbø. The square tower was first lit in 1873 and the tower was rebuilt in its present form in 1950.

Serenity! Lovely place with a genuine museum telling the story of the lighthouse. Very informative and entertaining if you enjoy local history. Spectacular overview over the Jæren landscape from the lighthouse tower.

Wunderschöner Leuchtturm in einer Traumlandschaft. Wir waren eine halbe Stunde vor Schließung da und wurden kostenlos reingelassen. Vielen Dank an den super freundlichen Leuchtturmwärter. 😍 Im ersten Obergeschoss gibt es einen Druckluftkessel, der früher die Horntöne des Leuchtturms erzeugt hat. Mittlerweile ist der Turm automatisiert. Ganz oben kann man auf einer Plattform einen wundervollen Ausblick genießen. Nach dem Aufstieg auf den Leuchtturm ging es noch eine Runde wandern auf dem Gelände. Vielen Dank. Und hat es sehr gefallen!

A very nice ladscapes on a beautiful sea coast. Too bad that the lighthouse was close and I couldn't visit it. But the sea view is just fabulous!

When we called the contact number on the website we were told the lighthouse would be open today, but when we got there it was closed! The notice on the door says the lighthouse is close for 2019 for renovation work! Nice place for a walk and great chocolate cake just down the road at Haw...

For en plass å tilbringe en helg! Du er rett oppi naturen; det uendelige havet, utsikten over de flate Jær-landskapet, den store himmelen, vinden, skyene, havlukten, duften av jord med en trillion steiner, fuglelivet og fortid og nåtid. Obrestad fyr tilbyr 3 overnattingsmuligheter, Fyrbøterboligen (6 plasser), Rundehuset (6 plasser) og Hybelen (2 plasser). De er alle utsøkt innredet, med original kunst på veggene, moderne og komfortable, samtidig som de fremdeles har historisk preg over seg. Selve fyrtårnet er sentrum på plassen, hvitt og majestetisk. Herfra kan en gå endeløse turer på Kongeveien både sørover og nordover. Nordover kommer man, bare etter en kilometer eller to, til Hå Gamle Prestegård. Et mål i seg selv, med kunst, kultur og historie sammenflettet i en flott...
