Meget fin Bygdesamling til å være I et lite øysamfunn. Historien rundt Herøy kirke og med gården som tilhørte presteskapet. Alt dette har dype røtter tilbake fra 1100 tallet. Herøy er fødestedet til dikter presten Petter Dass. Historien forteller også om historien om kystfolket og deres daglige slit for tilværelsen. Herøy er en perle på kysten av Helgeland.
