The Twist is a gallery, a bridge as well as sculpture, all in one. The 1000 square meter building twists into a sculptural form and ranges 60 meters across the Randselva river. The building was designed by the Danish star architects BIG - Bjarke Ingels Group. It is referred to as a "must-see" artistic destination by the New York Times, Bloomberg, and The Telegraph. In a rhythmic interplay of woodland nature, The Twist is a gorgeous gallery with mixed light sources and river views. The Twist keeps three galleries; Closed Gallery, Twist Gallery, and Panorama Gallery. From the south side of the river, visitors reach through a spectacular double-height space into the Closed Gallery, with precise sightlines through the whole building to the north entrance.
