Haugaland Zoo — Attraction in Karmøy

2020-07-30 - Properly one of the worst zoo I have ever visited! The buildings, paths, entrances could all use a major upgrade. The price though reflected that it should have been... 250 for adults and 150 for kids. You can only eat and drink food and drinks you brought on your own, which we had, but again the room for having lunch was really in need of an upgrade. We spend about 1,5 hours including lunch and then we had seen it all (our youngest on 1 year and 9 months walked it all on her own... That says at bit about the size of the park).

Only reason that I give one stars is that the animals seemed to be OK as they luckily don’t understand the mess...

I've been here second time and I think I'll never come back. Someone said ,,nice place to walk with kids'' yes indeed, but only to walk not to educate them.So,not enough animals, not enough information about animals,not enough toilets, bad car park,false information at internet about the garden opening hours, all of those make this please not worth to...

The zoo looks very sad and empty. I paid 400nok for my daughter and myself, was not worth it at all. Even my kid was wondering when we can finally go home. This place was probably an ok place to visit some months ago before institutions took away half of the animals from them. But now its total waste of time and money...
