Hardangerbadet AS — Attraction in Kvam herad

Went for an evening swim. Just 3 others I wondered why no one was in the middle . Pool had one lane set up, rest was an open space. I realised later. It's a diving pool and quickly sweeps from 1.35 metres to 3.60 metres with no space at deep end to rest unless you are at the sides. I moved to the side once a lady left. You can't see much of a view whilst swimming as diving area blocks it. The changing room was large and clean but very basic, a bit cold, no hair dryers, modern showers but not that powerful. Lady at reception very polite I was the only one there. Very good lockers which may be opened by blue tooth with your bracelet.

Was pricey entry just for use of pool but enjoyed the peaceful time as by 8pm. just 2 people including myself in the pool.

Very nice swimming pool, great if you have small kids with a big slide and « enchanted river ». I have to say a bit expensive if you compare it with the price we are...

Nytt og moderne badeland. Totalt tre basseng. 25-metersbasseng, terapibasseng og et basseng med klatrevegg, motstrømmskanal og et plaskeområde for de minste. Der er også en sklie som starter på toppen av stupetårnet som man kan gjøre unna på 5 til 6 sekunder. To stupebrett på 1 og 3 meter er der også.

Det er relativt dyrt å bade i dette bassenget, men de har familiebilett som i Juli 2020 var 490 NOK for 2 voksne og 2 barn. Gratis parkering.

Alt i alt veldig bra, og vi kommer nok til å ta turen innom neste gang vi...
