Nydelig område med gamle klosterruiner og hovedhus. Om sommeren er det liten pitoresk kafe og flotte utstillinger i kjelleren. Område rundt klosteret er fint opparbeidet med hage og stier. En liten spasertur fra klosteret er det ei kulturløype med informasjon om alt fra geologi, livet i fjæra og vikingtidas langnaust og gravhauger. Det er rasteplasser og gode muligheter for rekreasjon.
