Totally worth of visiting. Bring a lot of water to drink along the way, especially if its a warm weather. The most beautiful scenery is after the stairs. 800m trail to the waterfall is quite a walk but the view is breathtaking. You can fill your bottle from the waterfall, tastes amazing!

Great hike, wonderful view. Parking is at the village, cost 60 kr, but not sure how to pay as a tourist. Went up there in April, up to around Stair 1300 it was quite easy, then a lot of snow made it difficult to continue. Thanks to the people who made this awesome attraction ❤️

Looks like an incredible place to visit. So many stairs, but the views will probably blow your mind once you are up there. We did not go up as the weather was very rainy. Next time! 😊☀️ The parking is 590m away and costs 60 NOK.

Great hike, wonderful view. Parking is at the village, cost 60 kr, but not sure how to pay as a tourist. Went up there in April, up to around Stair 1300 it was quite easy, then a lot of snow made it difficult to continue. Thanks to the people who made this awesome attraction ❤️

Wooden stairs, 2117 steps that bring your from about 35 m above sea level to about 410 m. Newly built and opened on July 8th, 2023. Nice views over the fjord and mountains already from the lower parts of the stair trail. However, the nearby waterfall (Henrikkafossen) cannot be seen from the stairs. Parking (50 NOK via vipps) is available about 700 m...
