Lovely Sami couple and their dog were there to greet us. An overview of Sami culture and everyday life. We were given a sample of reindeer meat to try as well as a key ring made of deer antler to take home as a souvenir. They also have a wide range of beautifully handcrafted goods for sale.

The nest experience with amazing hosts! Great cabin clean warm. Has sinner in the special Sami gamettaditional deer soup. We were introduced to the culture and music of Sami. Thank you for your warm welcome and the friendly reindeer that greeted us at the door of our cabin

Wir waren zu dritt in einer wirklich schön und liebevoll eingerichteten Hütte für 4 Personen mit kleiner Küche, Dusche, Toilette und kleiner Terrasse. Die Eigentümer sind äußerst freundlich, sprechen super Englisch und sogar ein wenig Deutsch. Am See könnte man kostenlos Angeln und das Frühstück war lecker. Es gab selbstgemachtes Brot, Rührei, Waffeln, Creme Fraîche, leckere Marmeladen, frische Wassermelone, Schinken, Rauchfleisch, Gurke, Tomate, Tee, Kaffe und Orangensaft. Das Frühstück fand in einer Torfhütte bei Lagerfeueratmosphäre statt. Dabei konnte man sich mit dem Eigentümer über seine samische Kultur unterhalten. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

We stayed ex tempore for one night but would have liked to stay for longer if there would have been room. We got a comfortable, clean and cozy cabin that fitted our family of four plus our large dog nicely. The place is located outside Kjøllefjord with nice walking paths and beautiful scenery. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen well equiped and the host family, who live at the site, is very helpful and friendly.
