Sehr schöne verspielte Kirche mit Friedhof. In traumhafter Lage. Sollte man in der nähe sein, ein Besuch ist sie auf jedenfall Wert. Konnte mir leider nicht alles in Ruhe anschauen. Es fand gerade eine tragische Beerdigung statt. Die mich richtig runter gezogen hat🌹

Raggiungere la chiesa è piuttosto semplice e il parcheggio si trova sul lato opposto della strada. Purtroppo non ho avuto modo di entrare. Questo luogo è testimonianza del grande rispetto che si ha per i defunti.

Alstadhaug kirke er enestående rik på historie, kunst og kultur. Beliggenheten i kultur- og fjordlandskapet er makeløs. Kirken ble vigslet til St Peter i februar 1169 og relikvien (fingeren) etter ham ligger fortsatt I alteret. En eldre steinkirke er brukt som fyllmasse i murene til nåværende kirke. Stolpene til trekirken før denne, finnes i korgulvet til nåværende kirke. Før det igjen, sto det et norrønt gudehov...
