Wahrscheinlich immer noch ein Geheimtipp, wenn auch nicht mehr so verborgen, wie vor 10 Jahren. Mittlerweile kann man per geführter Kanutour direkt zum Gletscher paddeln, was aber erst ab Juli, je nach Witterung, möglich ist. Im August trotzdem oft nur 5-10 Grad da oben, bei Regen dann richtig kalt und ohne gutes Equipment eher lebensgefährlich. Man kann mit dem Auto bis zur sehenswerten Stauwand fahren und die letzten 100 Höhenmeter zu Fuß gehen. Die Aussicht ist fantastisch und man sollte eher bei schönem Wetter dorthin, so dass man den Gletscher auch sehen kann. Wenn man Glück hat, schwimmen nahe der Stauwand kleine Eisberge.
