A very interesting place and where you can see wild salmon jumping up a waterfall. There's an exhibition on the upper floor explaining all about the life cycle of salmon and trout, their anatomy and history of fishing - this is based on interactive boards and you can select English language as well. The lower floor exhibits something as well, but as this floor is in Norwegian only I can't really tell you if it's actually interesting. They've built a kind of a staircase for the salmon in the first floor - here are some information stands that include English as well in the beginning an in the end of the corridor you can see the staircase as well. It seems though, that quite a few of the salmon prefer the old way of getting up, but we were also lucky to see one salmon go up the staircase as well. Once you visit the center, you can also walk along the road to the waterfall which is really cool and there were a lot of fish trying to jump up the waterfall.
