Absolutely stunning views!!! Blåvatnet, Norway 🇳🇴 This is glacier water and has been there for over 1,000 years, since it started to melt and became this lake. The water is absolutely very, very clear blue. We spent 3 hours hiking (10 km). ⛰️The entire trail has a lot of stones, not too difficult but not easy either. 🏞⛰️🏕 I saw so many people swimming 🏊‍♂️, but not for me because even when i tried to walk barefoot, it was sooo cold for me—about 2°C water temperature.

Absolutely beautiful. We did the hike leading to the lake which consisted of a lot of loose rocks required to climb over. However, it was definitely worth it. Pictures don’t accurately describe how beautiful this lake is and how blue it is. This is an absolutely treasure. I would highly recommend completing the hike to the lake.

A nice short hike. The path was kind of hard near the end so I would not recommend this for small children. Beautiful views when walking. The lake water is freezing cold and the bottom is slippery rocks so not really a beach location. The water seems more blue than the sky! Very beautiful and totally worth it.
