We had an absolute great time at Rypetoppen. We have 3 kids, aged 6, 7 and 9. The youngest wasn't tall enough to climb all routes but that was absolutely no problem. There were plenty off courses for her to enjoy.

After a proper briefing how to safely use your gear and tackle a course we were free to go were we felt like. The were plenty of challenging, fun, even frightning and one frustrating climbs in one part of the forest. In many degrees of difficulty.

There were plenty of fellow visitors but because there are so many routes to choose from there is plenty of space for everyone around to tackle each course at your own pace.

You can buy drinks and some bites for lunch but it seemed like there were also BBQ's available. Not sure if they were free to use, but it looked like it.

You're not allowed to climb with backpacks. You can leave them in a building next to the terrace/entrance, but there are no lockers.

There are plenty of toilets. Though I didn't inspect them all, the ones I have used were acceptble clean and even had warm water to wash your hands. For simple camperlife that is pure luxury 😉

Personel seems to be around each corner and all were genuinly friendly and helpfull.

After a nice break we went further to the back where there are some mountain courses.

The Ørna route #19 has 3 long spectacular ziplines. Which was defenitly one off our favourites.

The last one I took with my son and daugther was route #21, Fossekallen (the waterfall). It starts with a climb along a cliffside where you have to hold on to iron bars and walk across tiny pegs whilst also tagging your hooks along, about 20 m above the ground. The kids were quite scared but we managed to reach the platform to the 1st long zipline. It takes you heigh across the lake to another mountainside. There you cross a "rope" bridge along side a tall, roaring waterfall. Just felt like I was Indiana Jones in the Temple of Doom movie 🤠. Than again climb up another rocky path and to the 2nd long zipline which takes you back across the lake to the 1st mountainside. It took us quite a while and we were pretty beat and defenitly the last ones in the park. Personel were still amazingly helpfull and friendly and me and the kids walked back tall and proud having conquered the spectacular Fossekallen ✊️.

What an amazing day we have had. Takk...

I dont know how it is in the mineral park where it is about stones, cause I was in the bading part. And it was pretty fun we were there for hourse. And its different fun things you can do. But I advice to bring float west, beacuse its full there and its mandatory. And you should go there early even if you have pre-orded. A 4/5...

Lovely place to go out with friends and family. The instructors had really fun teaching us how to use the climbing system and it was enjoyable overall. The view from the top is beautiful, love the ziplines and the climbing varying from easy to difficult. Was really fun. We also lived in a cottage it was cozy and...

Really big and cool climbing park, both mentally and physically challenging. Climbs from aprox 2 years and up. Available toilets. Barbeques are there, just bring the food. You can take a swim, or rent a cano or SUP (stand up board). Also new cabbins (-18) for rent with 6 bunk beds.
