I would categorize this as a nice and practical cabin. We were a family with 2 small children and this worked out very well. Away from the city but still in a place with adequate neighbours. The Lifjell ski centre is just few footsteps away (well more like a 1000, but that is not too far even in winter). We stayed in Cabin 43 which was pretty good. Did not have a microwave though. That was a disadvantage. ||||If you have not bought food along, be ready to drive down to Bø. Takes about 20 minutes or thereabouts. Not a bad drive, whether night or day. Remember that Lifjell is a mountain while Bø is almost in the valley. So you are climbing or coming down. So drive carefully. ||||I would highly recommend this place for families with small children. The service level is fantastic. We had planned our trip in a hurry. So we did not get sheets or towels with us. We called up the caretaker on arrival (around 2000) and he was kind enough to drive it out to us without any complaints at all (If you are reading this from the US and think it is standard, this place is in Norway and expectations are different). ||||We as a family will probably come here again during...

We had to clean it ourselves before leaving. That is when I discovered how dirty this place really was. Not much to clean it with either. If you are still going bring your own plastic bags ( there are none in cabin). Bring your own towels and bed linen. If you have problems with bad smells/ breathing trouble do not go when cold. As soon as you switch on radistors it stinks burned dust really bad. Years and years of...
