I think this is the most peaceful of the Oslo islands. It’s got a nice sandy beach but also rocks near the water that you can sit on. I found some nice seashells around and when the sun got too hot, walked over to the kiosk for a slushy. It’s the perfect day out in Oslo. The ferry doesn’t even take a full 25 minutes to get there. Would definitely recommend visiting the island.

Kilka minut promem z Oslo i uciekasz od zgiełku miasta. Fajny kawałek piaszczystej plaży trochę skałek łagodne zejście do wody, molo i kiosk gdzie można kupić coś do jedzenia. Bardzo dobra alternatywa dla plaz w Oslo. Polecam.

I have visited this place twice: July 2022 and August 2023. In 2022, I would have given it 5/5, but this has changed to 2/5 in 2023. Why? Hot showers have been disassembled or stolen, lots of people are playing loud music very late at night and homeless/shady types are hanging out all around. nice place at the first sight, second one was not so great. one beach next to a port was full of glass and metal pieces, quite dangerous to walk. it should be done something with it. from a port it looks like garbage island. beaches facing Bygdoy were...
