Great hike along the lake. We didn't take the gravel path, instead opted for forest adventure. The trail is well marked. The walk through the forest is a true bliss. You can make a total round of the lake and get immersed into the beauty of nature. Lotus flowers can be spotted...

Just 2,5km from Skar bus stop. Great for a trip with small kids. Good bit away from Oslo and not as overrun as Sognsvann. Fireplaces along it's shores! Great walks of all lengths from there. Tømterhyttene pretty near, but a good scramble uphill. Nice for a dip...

Just 2,5km from Skar bus stop. Great for a trip with small kids. Good bit away from Oslo and not as overrun as Sognsvann. Fireplaces along it's shores! Great walks of all lengths from there. Tømterhyttene pretty near, but a good scramble uphill. Nice for a dip if it's warm.
