Possibly the best beach in Oslo. The bathingwater seems very clean. There are a good working shower. Lots of space for everyone. The sand is great and of good quality. If you like there are clifs too so you dont have to touch sand. But the sandbeach is very good. There isnt sharp stones in the water and it seems childfriendly. You can even take a grill with you and have it up whereever you want, except in the forrest. There are many facilities to get rid of garbage and a free toilett very near, but away from the sandbeach. I dont think it is the best beach for people en wheelchairs, but except from that this place is very very good.

Only accessible by bus!! One of the reviews says that there are large car parks, not true!! Car parks are not nearly large enough for volume of traffic and virtually no street parking. Take the 30 bus to the Huk stop and don’t bother with bringing your car, unless you intend to arrive at 7 in the morning. We are here mid-July and there is lots and lot of seaweed, just be aware. The beach is sandy but not soft, wear water shoes only if you’re really sensitive. The water is clear enough and the temperature is refreshing, but the seaweed is a bit of a deterrent for me.

My favourite beach in Oslo. Easy access by bus 30 from Oslo downtown. Usually full with familes and babies. Water and beach condition very suitable for children. Many ideal spots to lay down and enjoy view. A perfect spot to run out from city crowd and give yourself some peaceful time.

A really nice beach and my favourite place to enjoy the sun. You have to take a walk if 10 minutes from the bus station but personally I think it is completely worth it. At the beach there are tixi toilets which always had toilet paper and there is a kiosk which is open in Saturday and Sundays. The beach itself has the right size as there are less people as at the Huk beach. You also have to possibility to go a bit further after the beach and lay in the ground surrounded by the forest but still having above view...
