Much more beautiful than the pictures manage to show! As with most of Norway, the cameras lense just never seems to capture the scale of things enough. There's a good sized car park and from there ors only a couple of hundred metres walk to the canyon. But although short, the walk is not necessarily easy for those who have an impairment or have balance issues. Good solid bottomed supportive shoes are needed, because there are a few ups and downs and loose stops. When yoh reach the canyon there are no safety rails of any kind. The rocks are sharp and jagged and trip hazards abound so please be careful if you're with children of have a dog. However, be careful and stay on the paths. Nature is very vulnerable and all traces remain visible for a long time... Remark; best photos you can get, if you are in there in the morning.
