Read moreA lovely hidden gem easily accessible by public transport! I would recommend taking the bus to Mekjavik and then walking to Tungenes lighthouse, the way is super pretty and peaceful (you can find the tour on the UT app or website) If the restaurant is open make sure to try one of their delicious waffles or cake. You can get a private visit of the lighthouse for 40NOK and I would highly recommend it. The place is furnished with things from the 40s and the tour guide will tell you more about the life of the lighthouse keepers and their families. Also everyone working there is really friendly and...
