Trollstigen in Norway means "revolving ladder". Trollstigen and Ørnesvingen are collectively called The Golden Route, also known as "Geiranger-Trollstigen". This golden road is actually the entire Fv63 road, starting from the southward bifurcation point of the E136 international road near Åndalsnes - the Soggee bru river crossing bridge, and ending at the Rv15 road near Langvatnet Lake, with a total length of 104 kilometers. Among them, the village before Linge was classified as the road of elves in a broad sense, and the village after Eisdal belonged to the road of eagles. The Trollstigen road has countless zigzag turns, 853 meters above sea level, and an average slope of 9%. There are 11 hairpin turns in total which spirals up the mountain wall. There is Trollstigen Center at the end of the road, and there are two viewing platforms, The Trolls Path Viewpoint and Plattingen, overlooking the magnificent road scenery. It is a must-see attraction that...

Wow! This is just an amazing place! The road is awesome. It is great to drive it by car, it is even greater to drive it by motorbike. It can be quite hard with RV/camper, as some curves are really sharp. But it can be done with some caution. :-) The views are astonishing. There is also a great overview point at the top of the road. Nature around is spectacular. I cannot just find all the words to describe the place. It is a shame that most of the tourists just pass through and stops here just for a while, look around and wander off. This place deserves much more time. And it is worth it, I definitely recommend you to visit this place. And I suggest to plan and see some great...

Free parking & WC, free admission to the platform. One trick to take photos for person in picture is take a few steps to the side trail on right side of path.

I can say "WOW SO AMAZING PLACE " I visit here with my plan to hiking and in that day irs a little bit rain 🌧 but that can't stop me go out from the heta to visit nice views. There have some story about Troll live there. I start drive car to some parking place and walk up to the view of road and some water fall. Everywhere like heaven because the blue color of water and colorfull flowers with green leaves. I really recommend visit there. *** I'm a bit sad because someone already cut the sign to show be careful troll attack! I don't know why someone cut it but anyway the view is worth to go.
