Amazing experience - everyone must try this! I researched about many high rope climbing courses in Norway. While there were others that were closer to Bergen or Oslo, we designed our itinerary to include Helgøya Klatrepark and I am so happy we did! The staff was skilled, friendly and helpful. Multiple levels with varying difficulties were well thought out. There were many unique obstacles that we didn't find in other parks. We came in early and were the last to leave for the day - and the whole family had a lot of fun. Yes, some of it was hard. We had to struggle, pull ourselves and keep going. We went till the "black" level - were thoroughly tired. The staff encouraged us to push forward, but when we chose to give up, they "rescued" us carefully. The owners, the beautiful locations, the quality of equipment - everything was perfect. I highly recommend this adventure if you're up for it!

Perfect for family, trails from easy to hard - you can enjoy all of them in app six hours with short break for lunch. You get all needed equipment in place, in sunny days do not forget to check availability - frequently visited place :) There are obviously few places to barbeque on gas - check at information desk and bring something on.

Very nice people working there! Great climbing facilities! A grill is available so you could make your own food from the grocery store, which brings down the total price a lot.

It is great for kids from the age of 3, and adults. They're great with safety, and provides you with harness and helmet, and instructs you how to use it, and the courses safely. The only thing is, most of the information around the courses, are in Norwegian. But if you don't know the language, just ask somebody. There's several instructors walking around the area, wearing green shirt, and they're more than willing to help you in every way. They have special courses for kids between the age of 3-6, and 6-12. After that, it's all about how tall you are, and the level you want to try. My kids are 3 and 6, and they love it here! My youngest son LOVES the...

Really amazing place! After a quick training run, and an incredible ride on the big zipline, you are free to choose any of the various courses and make your own adventure. There is a wide range of difficulty levels, from short obstacles that are a short distance from the ground, to longer, higher and harder/more technical ones. Get there when they open to get a full day in, you have to start your last route before 16:30. Super friendly and helpful staff as well. And such a beautiful view!...
