Odalstunet — Attraction in Sør-Odal

This is a place where old buildings from the local area have been donated. They are maintained as they were made, somewhere around a hundred years ago. You can rent the place for events, or just come and have a look around. Once a year, in the begining of summer this place has something called "life in the houses" (translated from Norwegian). Lots of local people bring this unique place to life, dressed in old style clothes, serving old style food and performing older traditional work like soap cooking, tar burning, blacksmithing and an old time store. Koslig plass å se tilbake på hvordan det en gang var. Odalstunet er et slags utendørs museum om hvordan det var i gamle dager i Odalen.
