The site, with a view of the Oksen mountain range, is situated at the tip of a promontory between Steinfjord and Ersfjord. There is a public toilet at the parking lot. At the end of October the place was still very busy during the day. At night was less busy but still more like other places. The spot is good for watching the Northern Lights. There is no artificial light and the view to the north is unobstructed. While it was very windy in other places, I felt it was better here. Presumably the mountains in the west shield stormy winds from the Atlantic. The rocks were covered with a thick layer of ice at the end of October.
