Breiddalsvatnet

Breiddalsvatnet is a picturesque lake located in Skjåk Municipality, Innlandet county, Norway, just west of the village of Grotli. This 6.9-square-kilometer lake sits at an elevation of 898 meters above sea level and is surrounded by stunning mountain scenery. The Norwegian National Road 15 runs along its northern shore, offering travelers breathtaking views of the lake and its surroundings. The lake is an integral part of the local landscape and ecosystem. To the north, it's flanked by the mountains Helleggi and Krosshø, while the Breheimen National Park lies just to its south. Breiddalsvatnet is fed by the Støre Lægervatnet lake and flows into Grøtlivatnet lake, forming part of a larger water system in the region.
