A beatiful scenic place for content creators, photographers and just regular tourists. The surrounding area is quite ruined though and during summer it can be a bit crowdy, especially in the weekends. I am a photographer and Ilive just 45 minutes from this place and I always come back all year round. The drive from Egersund is quite nice. I can also recommend the hiking trips around the area, especially "Hellersheia" which takes you on a roundtrip on top of the mountains above this place. The view is fantastic. Read moreFantastic little piece of history tucked away. Two 200yr old cabins sheltered by overhanging rock. The day we visited the mist engulfed the place and whilst hiding the views from up top it certainly added to the feeling down by the water and cabins.
Quick walk up the 400 or so steps alongside the old track cart provided brief glimpses of potential views for next time.
