Hellestøstranden — Attraction in Sola

In this area there are several breathtaking beaches with possibility for both swimming and hiking. Every year the annual kite festival is held at the Skarasanden with thousands of attendants, both kids and adults. On warm and nice summer days, the beach at Hellestø is the perfect spot for the sunseeking people visiting. In winter and autumn, people like to come here to witness the particular light in these parts of the country, as well as the powerful elements present when strong winds beat against the beach. There are many beaches in Norway it seems, and this is another one. This one on this day, however, also happened to have surfing lessons which a friend had signed up to and I went along to watch. A Superior beach not long from stavanger. Here you can go surfing, swimming, fishing etc. A great place to see the sun go down. Can be windy and cold so make sure you have enough clothes on. There is a surfing school also here, not expensive at all to do some classes, they have everything you need and are professionals. A great place to enjoy a glass off wine and just chill.
