(Just another) beautiful waterfall in Norway, depending on the amount of rain, the water level differs a lot. If the water level is high and the sun is shining, you will have your fair share of rainbows. You will find a beautiful 20 km hike along the lakes/rivers in the valley, Likholefossen is roughly in the middle.

A big parking space, allows many guest to visit the Likeholefossen. It’s a big bridge over the waterfall. Around the area there are many nice wood walkways to hike and explore the surrounding area. Also it is possible to go for longer hikes here up to 25km. We had sunny weather and a great time.

06.2024/It is easy and quick to reach from the parking lot. It also has a metal bridge over it from which it can be admired At the end of June had a very high flow. An overview point would be on the right side of the bridge where there is a small house right next to the water

Tip: The neighboring campground offers transport service at 10 a.m. to points along the way so you can hike back to your car and not do an out and back. 40 nok for adult, 20 nok for children. Lovely well-marked trails, delightful views every step.

Beautiful place with long wooden path. Very clean despite plenty of people. Sweet sheeps resting around and a lot of eatable big mushrooms. I didn’t pick any of the mushrooms because I don’t know if it is allowed.

Park in the designates area walk just a few meters to see an amazing waterfall with massive water flow. There is a bridge just over the water. Great place must stop even if it rains!
