Quick and neat little stop when travelling to or through Trondheim. They have made a few seats and a small sign near the cliff, so it’s a lot easier to find now 😊 We followed this instruction and found it straight away:

Parking at Bekken parking lot. From the parking lot we follow the “Akebakken” (the path to the left of the road) towards Estenstadhytta approx. 70 meters before we turn left through a portal marked “skogsti”. (forest path). After about 150 meters the path divides and we turn left. We follow this trail about 500 meters in rising terrain. Just when the path makes a sharp turn to the right and up a small creek, you’ll take a slightly secluded path to the left which leads about 50 meters down to...

A nice walk through the forest with good accessibility from the city and suitable for walking the dog. At the end, you can see the "baby Trolltung" if you didn't have the opportunity to go to the real one 😁 even if it's small, sitting on the edge is still quite an adrenaline experience 😅 and of course when the weather is nice such a nice view of part of the city and nature...

This is a great vantage point to get a view over the whole area. We went in summer and everything was green, green, green. Haven't tried going in winter but I think the snow might be too deep to get there. There aren't really signs up to get here, we used the phone's GPS to find the rock - highly recommended to go with a fully...

Tiny and lovely spot some minutes walk away from Trondheim, which is not that easy to find. However with the exact coordinates it should not be a problem to conquer the woods there. The view will be worth it! :)
