Had my first time Northern light experience here. Not so bright, kp index was 4 and much less light pollution. But it was a very good experience. Very nice view of the sea and the nearby islands.

A nice little place to go for a hike, enjoy the view down the fjord or go for a swim. Beautiful coastline, easy to reach by bus from city center. Toilets and cold showers available.

One of Trondheim's nicest "beaches". A nice open grassy area, children climbing area with calisthenics possibilities, a beach volleyball field and a bathing entrance with round pebbles.

Nice washed rocky areas with or without protection from the wind make it easy to barbeque right next...

Nice sunset point in summer with Ladekaia next door for a refeeshing beverage or small meal. In late autumn and early spring nice spot to look for Northern Lights as you have sweeping views from east to north and on to west with little light polution...

Probably the nicest beach I visited in Trondheim. Quite small and not that crowded. The only con is that it takes a really long time to get there from the city center but the walk in a nice weather is...
