Be careful of parking! We got a ticket for 900 NOK because the kind parking police said we had parked at the bus stop. The bus stop sign and stand was about 100 meters away. And there were no "no parking" signs where we parked. Every car (about 20 cars) along that strip got a nice 900 NOK fine that day. And probably every day the same thing happens! So make sure you park in the official parking area - a bit further away from the beach. BTW - the beach itself was nice - cold water of course, but nice and wide open, with portapotties and even a hand shower to get rid of the salt/sand.

Gorgeous beach!! Super sandy and easy to get in and out. Parking is confusing and there aren't any painted lines. Don't park on the (circular) tire marks. They're from the local bus and it gets stuck when the path is blocked. You'll occasionally see bus riders going down to the beach to find folks who are blocking the bus path.

Beautiful sandy beach. Well worth the visit if the weather is good. Camping allowed. Running water. The trail to the beach is a bit tricky (see second photo). You need to hop/walk from rock to rock. Luckily the trail is not that long (50m from parking). Thus definitely doable for anybody who can walk.

Der Strand ist perfekt für kiddis zum planschen, weil es einige Meter braucht die man ins Meer muss, bis das Wasser die Badehose berührt. Der Strand bietet optisch klassisches Südseefeeling. Man kann am Strand sein Plätzchen finden oder ein bisschen weiter hinten, windgeschützt, zwischen den Felsen. Die Lage des Strandes ist schon sehr einzigartig . Man kommt erstmal nicht aus dem staunen raus. Weil es einen beeindruckt wie die Berge das Meer einen Rahmen geben. Es gibt für PKW aber auch Caravan einen angenehmen, übersichtlichen, großen Parkplatz und ein bisschen weiter gibt es noch einen kleineren Parkplatz. Wer länger parken möchte als nur zum planschen und mit seinem Auto oder Caravan einen kleinen Stellplatz mit Aussicht sucht, sollte etwa 100m nach den kleinen Parkplatz durchaus fündig werden! Hier kann man auch übernachten.

Nice little beach with white sand. Nice place to cam p and swim when visiting Henningsvær. The parkinglot is quite small so be early if you want to camp here. There is a paid toilet on the beach that costs 10 krone and can be paid with a creditcard
