Vegatrappa — Attraction in Vega

Vegatrappa is stairs starting a bit above sea level taking you up to the mountain Ranvfloget 350 masl. in roughly 1500 steps. The stairs is well built, with several places to rest and enjoy the fantastic view over the ocean. It is also possible to climb a via ferrata to the top, and follow the stairs back down. Note that this is in a remote area, and there is not much else...

Bella passeggiata che ti porta sul Ravenfloget, a 350 metri sul livello del mare. La prima parte è costituita da sentieri, rampe e aree dove fare un picnic o dove poter accendere il fuoco. Ci sono anche delle belle sculture di animali fatte in pietra, come formiche, ragni, gufi e un bassotto con gli occhiali.

La seconda parte invece è fatta di sole scale e punti dove fare un piccola pausa o ammirare il paesaggio. Si arriva in cima dopo quasi 1400 gradini (anche se dicono essere quasi 2000), la maggior parte con delle targhette di persone che hanno comprato un gradino per finanziare il progetto della Vegatrappa.

Dalla cima si può godere di una splendida vista su Søla e diversi isolotti. Nelle giornate con tempo sereno si può vedere fino a Træna. Inoltre c'è una bella statua di un'aquila. Da qui partono diversi sentieri che salgono sulla montagna, ma noi non siamo stati fortunati con il tempo ed era molto nebbioso...
